What this app is

Apply Anyway is an unofficial NYC guide for food stamps and cash help. It is not the city site. We do not file your case. We do not ask for your Social Security number.

What stays on your phone

Numbers you type in Check, and words you type in Letters, stay on this device. We do not have an account. We do not have a server that keeps your numbers.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, EBT numbers, PINs, bank logins, or photos of your ID.

What we do not do

• No account
• No location
• No contacts, camera, or microphone
• We do not sell your information

ACCESS HRA and other sites

When you tap Apply, you leave this app and go to NYC’s site (nyc.gov/accesshra). That site has its own rules. We cannot see what you type there.

Kids

This guide is for adults applying for a household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

• You can apply on ACCESS HRA without this app.
• Uninstall the app to remove numbers you typed.
• Email applyanywayllc@gmail.com to ask a privacy question.
