ACCESS HRA

ACCESS HRA is the City’s official website and free app for SNAP, Cash Assistance, and other HRA programs. Create an account with an email or username and a password. Apply Anyway cannot see what you type there. When you tap Apply in our app, you leave our app and open the City site.

Practical notes

The website can be easier on a computer than in a phone browser. Use the official mobile app to upload documents.
Answer honestly if they ask whether you applied or received benefits in the last year. Old HEAP or Fair Fares history can look like a prior case.
After you apply, connect the application to your account so status and notices show on the dashboard.
ACCESS HRA is offered in several languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, and Russian.
The SNAP balance on ACCESS HRA can lag. HRA points people to ebtEDGE for the latest EBT balance. Apply Anyway is not a balance app.
